Stopped here on our way home from Minnesota. We showed up right before closing and were still treated to great service. The place next door was hopping and looked brand new but the menu at Gallagher's was what we were looking for. Don't be fooled by the older building or carpeted interior, the food was great and no one at our table was disappointed!
Chicken fried steak was the best we had in years the homemade steak. Had the taste of moo none of that prepared over salty taste. And the hash browns didn't have that real bitter taste So if your on the road or just plain hungry the chicken fry and a biscuit (with gravy ) Is more food than two people can eat Coffee wasn't bitter just that good restaurant coffee we have all grown to love Next time we share a order so we could have pie I just read ok it's going to be Captain crunch French toast Ok had to go back and correct my auto correct the hash browns DID NOT Have that bitter taste a sweet buttery taste I do apologize for that
I was stuck in Montana for a few days with my soon to be husband last 4th of July the waitress there seemed to understand just how scared I was and how stressed he was so she helped us in every way she possibly could. The food was wonderful we will definitely be going back my husband can't stop recommending it when we hear someone is heading to Montana. Thank you for the wonderful people who helped us that night we were stuck at the bus station and to the amazing Truck stop worker who handed us the money to be able to go and eat that next morning. It was a wonderful experience in a scary situation.
Small local eatery that had great selection of items (we ate during breakfast hours) and the portions were generous. The atmosphere I would say is typical of small town cafe, the staff was very friendly and service was quick.
Great place I'm from The Gulf Coast. No one believes in grits up here LOL but the breakfast all day is a gold nugget.
